MP finish no good on reskims

If its a reskim over pissed ceilings or walls it's bloody useless. You apply over 3mm and it slumps. Brilliant on board work tho :sisi:

I've only used it on good board work and thought it was great, has anyone any experience of it over sand and cement?.

Is it no good at all on reskims?
I've used it on reskims and sand and cement and hardwall etc and had no problems. As a previous poster has mentioned steer clear of artex though. I like it but it's hard to easily pick up from local merchants or sheds. If it's the delayed set you are looking for try cream of tartar. You can get Dr Oetker? packets for roughly a pound. There are five or six sachets in each and one sachet works perfect on one bag of finish. I am never without them of late. It's shaved a few hours off each day

I found any background with abit of suction MP finish tears. Its beautiful gear to use tho you can chuck loads on as it hangs on board work. Interessting to read that some have used it on sand cement im guessing with waterproofer added??
