Hi,

I've had some insulated plasterboard stored for a while and it's got damp and mould on it now. I'm wondering if I treat the mould with something to kill it then sand the mould away would it be ok to use? I was thinking once I done this I could double board over it with new plasterboard for getting the room skimmed. Does anyone see any issues or the mould through time coming through the new board.

Where is it on board? Near top-bottom? All over? Just throw it if its 1 board

Fix them all...spray with fungicidal wash, wait to dry then skim.

Has the board not come away from the insulation...thats what I find happens usually...the glue fails between the 2.

If it was me I would skip them....

Just because there would be no doubts then
