Mould on ext walls

Hi

I have alot of mould on the external wall at our front door. The plaster is laid directly on to the external brickwork. This is the only wall in the house that this happens and all the others are fine.
Can anyone recommend what to put up to remedy this. Lining paper? Damp proof paint? or is their any special materials that would fix this...

Many Thanks

Mould is usually caused by condensation on a cold surface
Can be reduced by ventilation or insulation , cheap chancer fix is thermal wallpaper or could do thin insulation covered with T&G

Mould paint. The good stuff is about £75 a tin. That will sort you out if it's just condensation.

Get some hg mould spray on that, once all cleaned up mould paint and invest in a decent dehumidifier

He said "at front door " , not sure of the practicality of
dehumidifier
Seems pretty strange it's the only wall with issues

Oh yeah maybe check his front door check the seals and frame see if there is any cold air seeping through

It could well be condensation but Have a look first at whats on the other side - leaking downpipe, porous brickwork/shot pointing etc. It's well away from the frame and in the corner so I don't think its the frame. is the entrance straight into say the warm/wet kitchen/open plan and it's the only external wall. You say the others are fine which make me think the trouble is on the other side of the wall not inside.

First you need to peel off the old coating and remove moisture, then apply a new coating and I think you need to install ventilation
