Monorex gf

We used GF for the first time this weekend and had big problems with it tearing. It sprayed nice enough but was skinned over after just 5 minutes of being applied. We use Monorex all the time and get on fine with it but this stuff was a whole new ball game. Background was parex Maite .

Never used it mate ,only do Webber,but if the wind picks up it makes it skin over ,could be that ?

if you get enough on the wall the i section will sort it anyway

its just the same gear, but with a finer aggregate in it.

Have you tried spraying it wet in two passes

Was thinking that Spunky, sprayed in one pass nice and wet,it may have been a bad batch. The stuff was skinning at a lightening rate .

Are you using a serrated edge?

its alot easier in two andy your not pushing so much weight around with the edge

It just looks crap when its left untidy with the customer around.

Got a decent area in GF Old Rose and this client is all over us when we get on site so if anyone in the North West wants to give us a hand well sort summat.

I know lol, yep Spunky we always serrate but we found that it was letting too much air in this stuff . Its two passes needed I reckon.

That was a good guess then lol on the next delivery if it's not still playing up try one pass and see if it's better

Aye your right Gibbo, it was a right day of it, as Owls said it cant be any different really than Monorex just hope it was a bad batch.
