When we have applied Mono into internal corners we use a short tooth saw blade with the handle removed to cut back. This way seems to take a while but the results are good,we have tried the angle plane but it digs the render and leaves a nice blue steak on the opposite side, is there a better way guys?.

I know what you mean with the angle plane mate ,i find if i use it really gently ,it comes out a treat ,but i will be watching this thread for a better way !

Same as you Keith, go gentle and its ok. I've got a blue one, a red one and an aluminium one, and they all do it!
You've got to go easy with the angle planers anyway. A couple of scrapes too much and you've fcuked it - you've got to angle it just right

You could try getting the angle planing done at I section time then remove the marks as part of the finishing process after with short spat & scratcher. A nice new scratch pad held flat and pulled up both walls of the corner gives a nice clean 90 degrees and takes marks out too.
