Used it internally though, but both seemed pretty much the same.

What are you wanting to use it with mate? Personally I prefer the bigger holed Parex TV10 for most things.

The manufacturers stuff is usually good. A good mesh is taught and snaps when the blade goes through it. A cheap mesh is soft and frays on the edges when you cut it.
