You could use it but it is used more as a fine filler by Spanish spreads for tarting up any iffy bits in machine plaster, its quite expensive compared to other finishes.Best to use Iberplaco Placo finish on board thats what its for or perlinor if you cant get these just use machine plaster and put it on a bit thicker.Whereabouts are you?

Hi lucas, im over in oz. lots of spanish stuff over here and trying to see what we can use where, supplier hasnt got much info on the translation of technical docs.

I have used the placofino and its nice, waiting on a new shipment to come over. They also have Ibertop whcih we have used on a painted render wall, went on fine and skimmed up nice.

Used the meccafino over painted render and it was not nice to use at all.

There is the proyalbi projection stuff which we wont be using as no machine as yet.

Were looking at products to use on renovation for skimming old into new and over plasterboard pretty mcuh

Thanks mate

You can use the projection stuff by hand some spreads put a couple of handfulls of mecafina in each mix, put it on a bit thickish and finish it as one coat spat sponge etc.
