Tbf happy to all our other gears dewalt now and very happy with it

Dunno about the radios as I don't use 'em, but I find DeWalt powertools to be quite boring and lacking in product range and innovation by comparison with the likes of Makita and Milwaukee, BUT I still like my 18v DeWalt tools - I find them generally decent-performing and very reliable.

They just work, without problems.

A bit like the Volvo estate car equivalent of 18v powertools.
 
If it’s the older radio get a new 1 with the lcd screen, loads better sound quality and picks up loads more dab stations
 
I have a mega old Makita radio runs off the old nimh batteries :D

I'm amazed it still runs - nimhs are notorious for degenerating really rapidly, after just a few hundred charge cycles (memory effect, etc., etc.). Had many a nimh battery die on me, with Sony personal audio gear.
