I know what you mean about batteries and the newer Makita ones are better than they used to be but, for Makita money you can get the dewalt and it's more versatile cos the auto feed b it is detachable the same as the hilti.

i have a Senco but when i have used a Makita screw gun i found that it was slightly different to use. you need to pull the trigger before the gun touches the board. with the Senco i don't pull the trigger till the gun touches the board. i prefer the Senco.

Dewalt then. Can get dewalt to makita battery converter, so might do that.
