I made a comment! But can’t really say I’m 200 odd miles away
No worries I will be taking it the only thing I was thinking is it’s the price they said so thinking they might be on the lower side.
For sure make class money at that

there are huge variations of price work in London. some very poor areas some very expensive areas.
some areas are just hard work to get there. one job we done in the city we dropped our tools off on a sunday, then traveled in on the train.

in recent years i have worked for quite a few customers who have moved from down south up to carlisle/lake district,.....only last week a couple who have moved up here from milton keynes,....but they all say the same thing ,much slower pace of life/not much traffic/cost of houses down south,etc,......personally never been to london, never will until legislation is passed in parliament that it is not called a hawk but a handboard, until then

Never been to London, never want to. Only time i’d go is if the kids wanted me to. £10 pound a m2 doesn’t seem much if you’ve parking, diesel, digs and grub to fork out.

when ever London plasterers won't accept the targets [prices] , they are told that the firm can get chaps from the midlands , pay their digs and get it done cheaper.

one plus about London is it does not matter how bad the recession is in uk, London never stops so you can always earn .

There’s companies near me that do all their work down there. A one man band roofer goes down every week to. Crackers

i have met painters who's home is in Elgin, working in London, they do a 5 day shift, get a flight to Aberdeen, then their wives meet them and drive them home for the weekend.
