Lockdown priming question.

Sick of looking at my neighbours falling off render on a small patch of his gable end, so offered to sort it for him f.o.c, in between looking after the kids (any excuse to get away from them at minute). Trying to minimise the materials I need to get in. Got enough OCR left from a job to do it.

The old scratch is well bonded to the brick, but it's pretty dusty. Would normally put microgobetis on to prime, but all out. Got PVA, SBR, cement, mesh and PVC beads. Just need to add water :)

What would be the best way to tackle priming/bonding it? Cheers

wondering why its dusty and how strong the mix is... maybe its weaker than the top coat that fell off...
stabiliser might help? bnq sell it

Thanks lads. Had thought about stabiliser first, but can't face queuing at bnq. Was wondering whether to try to 'stabilise' it with a diluted SBR before the slurry, but sure the slurry alone with sort it.
