Taken a job using limelite over a damp proof membrane in a basement room. Told the guy I'd never used it before, but he seemed determined to use me.
Anyway first days gone fine and first coated it all just wondering on the best method tomorrow? Do I need to prep the walls at all tomorrow before second coating? What's the best way to finish the product, trowel it up, sponge, plastic float? And also rough timings?

I know I know 'why take a job you don't know what you're doing' but I told the guy several times but I came recommended so wouldn't take no for an answer.

Guy already bought all the gear and bought one coat as it's what the company advised. That going to cause me issues?

Wonder why they’ve specced one coat, didn’t know you could get that in full size bags either
Yeah it's 25kg bags. f**k knows. He dealt directly with limelite and that's what they said was best to use. Ah well, live and learn lol could be an interesting day

The room is underground, basically a bunker. Don't know if that impacted on the choice of product

Post pics buddy and report back (y)
Little bit late posting the pics... But was a nice product to work with once got the hang of it, and a pretty cool job to do. One rooms going to have a projector in it and the other a sitting area. Broke up the normal weeks of multi, multi and more multi.
