dream to spread

Limelite backing is a dream to spread. like spreading cotton wool. Not like bonding and hard wall which are similar to spreading chewing gum.

Just the usual speed skim, then steel followed by refina plazzie then steel then spat and then sponge bring up the fat and steel. Easy!:RpS_wink:

I have used tons of renderlite, Limelite & Dri-Coat over the years & they all specified board finish!
It was great because you could float it on first thing & skim it the same afternoon when it got a bit crusty.
So why all of a sudden do we need a lime based finish that means going back the next day?

Are they now saying that board finish doesn't "breathe" ..... it's all bollox in my opinion!

....... and are they also saying don't decorate for 6 months just to add to this 19th century fad?
