Have been looking to see if any one else has asked similar question but no luck. I am looking at getting a machine for rendering but wanting to hire one prior to taking the plunge. I will be using for 3 coat render work as using lime. My question is though, due to the stonework not being flat is it better to level this up by hand an then hire machine to do just the main coats, Or use the machine for all of it? I wasnt sure if it would be too much hassle using the machine as they seem more suited for even coats due to the constant flow rate. Any suggestions much appreciated!

You can use the machine for all coats, and if the stonework is uneven then it will be a lot easier to straighten it using a machine then by hand

A Stuart says above really. A machine will be the easier option for you from start to finish.

If you need any help on the right machine to hire please don't hesitate to give us a call.

We will need a few more details on the exact materials your using so we can recommend the right machine.

Our contact number is 01242 236699 or please PM me with your details and I will call you

the more gear you use the. more effective a plaster ing machine is. the time spent mixing all that material and applying it by hand has a cost that will be far less by pushing a few buttons. materials cost can make it less economic. enewall do a good value fibre reinforced base coat that can bring all but the wonkiest walls flat in a few pasess with no slumping.
