Why not wood wool boards mate? I found them best tbh. It’s pointless to replace with saw laths , unless you have to follow some specs .

I.m being a t**t. Doing a attic . Done more cuts then local Barbour last two days. Was meant to be insulated n boards up for us . They were in front garden . So had to cut em down there . Up a flight of stairs and ladders . So the lazy t**t didnt have a pray i was carrying of cuts out.least it be nice n warm.
