Laying Carpet

Have any of you guys laid carpet before. I have a room with fireplace - 3.5 x 2.5m. Quite small. I was going to have a go at it myself. Is it hard.

Get the pros in..it cost f**k all ya tight fcker! Ive just paid to have my bedroom carpet fitted 13 m2 and its cost me £35!!!!!!!!! And that's from a carpet shop not a mate

I would just skim it mate....bed some mesh in it tho

I bought carpet. The shop folded it al shapes and said if you get home quick it will not crease. Seems to make it harder to lay. Anyway. Practice makes perfect.
Plasterers can do anything. Gifted bunch we are
