Sick of seeing so called tradesmen not wearing overalls that includes plasterers and painters .track bottoms covered in plaster or caulk ,they even get on the train like it.

New year ,..must wear overall and shave more often ...:RpS_blushing:Theres is a couple of spreads that go into my merchants in white bib and brace and they look professional. I used to wear a bib and brace when I was a full time spread but the company I was an apprentice with all the men wore them.
Think today's young spreads wouldn't stand for overalls. But lets face it, plastering must be the muckiest game in the building trade. We are not doing ourselves any favours looking like scruffs or smack heads. we can understand why we are mucky but in the eyes of other tradesmen we are scruffs and scruffs usually are low intelligence and low paid.
This new fashion of having a week old beard makes any male look a scruffy ******* in my eyes. Can't stand em. Reminds me of that arrogant arse Gary Barlow. Should be recalled Clarence the cross eyed lion (showing my age now lads, Daktari).
Not the image we are needing to give.
