Anyone used this, opened a bag today and its a creamy colour, always thought it would be grey like hp12

I used the hpx the other day on a 65m gable instead of hp14 for Ewi as the builder supplied this with jub top. It was a expensive way of doing it but good gear. Either spat and stone next day or spong same day but wait to set or it drags like ****!!

Is it similar to parinter..better?

No parinter is for masonry only and painted surfaces.

Hpx is a polymer can be used for insulation and scratch coats onto render carrier. It can be used on masonry especially smooth engineer brick bit normally hp12 for masonry

and parinters hydrated lime based 50% with binder, and not an adhesive like maitie so your comparing chalk with cheese.

There's CSS in Manchester and Encon in Chorley. Just wondered if you knew of anyone better. No worries bob.

Reading the posts i think hpx comes out on top as an all -rounder

To b honest hpx and maite are probably equals. Not sure about how good a finish you can get with hpx tho over insulation for texturing that's why they made hp14 bit with maite you can finish it really nice
