Knauf in Immingham has been on the go 20 yrs, the cost to build the site was 28,000.000 in 18 months the loan was paid back. To brothers owned knauf they are suppose to be some of the richest men in Germany. When they fly into Immingham
they fly in seperate jets and picked up in different cars.
They churn out 180 m2 of board per minitue. The cost of a 8x4 to them is 40p. and have turn this amount out from day 1.

This was told to me today how true I do not know.

i was filling in the concrete beams /columns where they all met with eml and render also did some spray fireproofing was there for 2 years in about 1982 to 84

Yer a few spreads have got into the fireproofing it's mostly lads from hull who do the spraying so am told.

the company i seved my time with were quite progressive in there thinking and he realised back in the late 70 s that it was fcuked and he went into fireproofing with the sprayers and some trowel application.

knauf have a big sit in St Helens, I priced up just recently to put the knauf marmorit EWI render on the place to bring it up to date, "material will be supplied by the client" was on the tender initation
