Hi Guys

I have just been made aware of this event happening during May 2012.Readymix Plasters Roadshow 2012 - Knauf Drywall

I don't have any more details that what is on this link (at the moment). They will only be demo'ing the Airless product, but the guys attending will happily discuss other Knauf Drywall Plasters on the day.

If you want to attend, either contact the local merchant to confirm your attendance, or let me know so that I can pass the details on. (either PM me or log below, your details and where you will be going)

These events are NOT training days, but product demos!

Would be intrested as I think the ritmo fan spray these and it can go on pre cast concrete.

Sweet its like 5 mins away from a new contract we are about to start up in croydon. Put me down for that but I might be stightly worse for wear as its my birthday the day before. Unless I'm a good boy that is.

i saw some guys doing the usg stuff looked like a long winded process was a good finish though like a mist coated room

im busy at moment mate got a bungalow 230 m2 render and 60 flats and 8 3 storey houses to skim croydon is a pain but yes i would i was in biggen hill screeding saturday

it sprays paint so i guess it would do it

Is there a web page with all the addons for the ritmo? Ive looked at PFT but can't see anything and at the roadshow they had a truck full of cool stuff it could do

yer airless is a no go but they do other premixed bagged plasterers like deco

was hoping they would show them but its just a airless demo. Should have read the title properly

If you have a specific interest in any of the Knauf Spray Plasters, let me know and I will get the specialist to get in touch and you can discuss them further.
If the interest and potential is good enough, product specific demos can be arranged......
Either let me know or contact Knauf Drywall and ask for the Spray Plaster BDM.

What products are you 2 really interested in?

Its called airless because its designed to goes through an airless spraying unit. It makes no difference if you do it by hand or airless or ritmo. The airless is a single unit that sprays at about 200 bar which gives it enough pressure to spray on the wall.
The ritmo can still be used to spray it on if need be. The attachment on the machine in the video is a pressure guage with cut off switch. The gun was similar to an airless gun. When you open the trigger material is forced through a tiny opening and air assists the projection. When u close the trigger the pressure builds up and sends a signal to turn the machine off.
They have other ready mixed plasters at knauf that require a worm pump the only difference i noticed when using on is the airless is much wetter.
The artist foraly known as wizard is correct in saying its a long old process on board but its more aimed at low skilled workers doing the work cheaply because it can always be sanded correct
