K rend rub up

been asked to do a k rend job I do lots off sand and cement render but think it's time to move with the times how long is too long to leave it for rub up is same day best or will you get away with next day I will be starting it later in the year when it's cooler thanks

Depends on the material you use , Weber drys quicker then most , so same day
