k rend patch

what causes a patch of k rend not to be able to be scratched up it seems to be almost smooth any ideas ?
i have seen this on quite a few buildings with k rend applied
 
Not very well mate lol didn't start till 1000 I helped a mate who told me at the last minute he was going to do a 3hour round trip in my van and pick some kit up so I picked itup for him and only put some beads up thanks for the tips though mate looking forward to having a go at floating it ......on the flip side I'm owed a few quid by the **** so might be asking for some tips on how to take beads off the ******* Walls
 
those patches sound like halos from the coat beneath if by hand. Or if particularly bad, misses can stick out too
 
yea misses go shiny as f*** on krend, although if large patches it shouldnt be a miss lol eitherr rubbed back too far n covered it up or ots a hardspot that cant be rubbed as said below :)
