I think that is because most on here go on like there plastering is perfect 100% of the time. I remember first time being on here reading how good everybody is lol. I think I'd even be nervous doing work for someone on the forum. Lol and I don't give a f**k

I'd like to see some of them on the site I'm on,I'm house bashing,there's five different gangs on there and they're good lads ,we're all getting snagged to f**k,I went back in one that's mist coated and there's red marks everywhere it looks like a 3 year old been let loose with a crayon,its soul destroying I don't care how good you are if come on this site they'll find something to pull

Agree on this. And this is why we don't know how good the domestic lords are and what they mean by high quality :whistle:. Who is checking? I have 3 diferent people checking my work and the last one is with fecking led going 100 s of times around only to find something . I swear in god one day will stick that pencil in his ass and will give him the torch to find it.:cachetada:
 
Its the easiest job to "find fault" or better described as "nit pick" anybodies work and for the s**t prices im informed of thats paid on new builds no wonder there may be a blemish or 2??

It's the number that hits them in the office . You need to play clever game here, hold some of the bookings back for s**t days, but sometimes you can't help it . Price is not great,
but its a school with big classrooms and coridors , real moneymaker :envidioso

I'm domestic and I agree completely. I've lost count of the number of times I've had customers come in after the first flatten and say how good it's looking!

If We got offered 3.50 we don't come back for some small blemishes or so. Most sites are paying 3.50 but they hold back the rest of the money for making good. It's like security deposit
 
i was getting 3.60 as a principal contractor 7 years ago on big sites and putting it out at £3 a metre, and I made a good living on that. I was paying spreads that turned up in escort vans four figures a week. the rest is levels of greed taken out of it.
