I've tried marble plastering

Hi there,

this week after much study and research ive finally put things into practice and had a go at venetian plastering. Only on a test board i hasten to add. After two attempts the third was quite a success. I have to admit that the videos on youtube etc do make it look rather easier than it actually is. I found the laying the plaster on tricky in the sense that if you run your trowel back over what you've done too soon it pulls it off lol!!!! However after a couple of balls ups the third board doesnt look half bad. will try and upload a pic at some point so everyone can have a laugh!!!!

I'm definitely going to do the gold trowel course. I kinda thing the venetian plastering could be a bit addictive.

Thanks for the encouragement.....i have a really bizarre excitement about doing this type of work.
