Well they're probably not the major supplier of plastering materials, that'd be Wickes, B&Q or some other DIY outlet. They are a builder's merchants so they tend to only deal with the trade and I guess that makes them well placed to judge what trades use what tools. I suppose it doesn't help that the decorators and plasterers mostly turn up in estate cars so it'd be easy to confuse them.
