The water's a foot deep under the house, 9" brick walls have been sat in it for nigh on a 100 years, and yet no damp in the house. It's almost as if rising damp was a complete load of bollox? o_O :LOL:

It is. But it's a great money spinner.
Most 'rising damp' is caused by bridged cavities or sub-floor shite piled up over the DPC. DPC failure is pretty rare.

Ha ha ! I just figure it out- the water is under the dpc o_O:LOL:. Do not show it to rising damp specialist- it will recommend rebuilding the whole house from scratch :bailando:
