I want my house replastered - is this feasible?

I've just bought a house. The surveyor told me the plaster throughout the house was in a very poor condition and blown in some places.

I was thinking to get every last inch of the house replastered.

Is this feasible?

One last complication is the fact that the paint on the wall may be lead based.

Would the plasterer be able to remove the plaster and paint, or would this be a job for someone else?
