I priced a job today

[s.p.t plastering]

It was a fair sized kitched, all crappy artex and a lot of it was back to brickwork...Re-plaster all the ceilings and walls in the kitchen, and re-plaster all the h/s/l which is crappy artex.

I said £750, which he accepted, but don't think he was happy with it..

Do you think that's to expensive?

I always feel a bit guilty, dunno why.

you can only do your best with pricing sometimes , some are easy to price others not so all i will say is , do the best job you can do and price accordingly your not ripping people off just earning a living .

I'm worried that if i do it in 3 or 4, he will start moaning about the price....

you should charge what you think you are worth mate, you can buy a ford car for £100 but you cant buy a 30 year old farari for less than £5000. i charge £2.00 per day and £5.0 for the lad but i believe i am worth that. dont feel guilty! this guy must have bought things before, house, car, shopping..... if he thought it was to much then i am sure he would say no
