Last month Direct Building Products ask if I wanted 100 board beads
8 rolls of scrim
1 hopup and a case of fosters all £99 + vat

Well I have to say the beads are very good not the cheap shite wicks sells at 1.79p a bead robbing ***** so the beads alone am alreadt £79 to the good.
 
They keep ringing me up and sent me some samples of their plastic beads (prefer the ones i use ) the prices seem ok
 
Steve put the s**t scrim on you're dashboard and turn the heaters on on you're way to work, still s**t but a bit better
 
i dont use the shite stuff anymore mate. i only ever use silver scrim. i used to sit it on the halogen while we got the kit out n by the time youre ready its sticky as anything. pain in the arse everyday though
 
Its the edge of the tape what gets on my ******* nerves, when it comes away from the mesh. The tape seems ok that it sticks to the board.

likewise, i bought a load of gorilla buckets off them [again shite copies] that had a habit of getting holes in as soon as you look at them. there plastic render beads are pretty good tho

Mostly private these days mate, just noticed I'm not far from you. We do get the occasional new build but as you know things aint great recently round this neck of the woods.

I just got some plastic 10mm beads off them which were on "special" cheap s**t that are all bendy and thin compared with their usual beads
 
im all private mate never done site work (only private site work) im from wakey mate where abouts you in sheff? not like i know the place or owt lol my cousin just done the new parkway school and the city school in sheff. how do you mix in a gorilla tub anyway? ive tried it once and soon as i turned the drill on all the water decided to jump out of the tub

 
do they do diff gorilla tubs? i have always used a big bucket that i get from my mate that works at a chem factory its big enough to mix a full bag and a few hand fulls maybe more if ya mix slower

I don't know about the hop up but the beads (Catnic) would only cost me £50, the scrim £12 and I think the co-op were doing Fosters for less than £10.

I live in Batley not Sheffield. As for the gorilla tub, I have the bigger refina and it doesn't fling the stuff about too much if you have some decent trigger control. You can get over one and a half bags in if you brim it or if i have some good area to go at i have a bigger one which will hold over 3 bags at a guess.
 
50p a bead mmmm ill have some how much are the stop beads?

the beads from BQ are wank of late think they must make them over a banana ok on a studded wall but shite if you have to stick them on
