i have just posted picks of the wall on photobucket/daz1968. i used very little water . in parts wall very powdery and in others fine . i had to bond out certain areas for level well pissed off six years and this s**t happens

just found the link daz and had a look at your photos, it looks to me like you have alot of fat on the wall, on the point of it being dusty, you normaly get a little bit of dust on your finger if you rub it on a wall that has just been plastered mate. :)

same here mate. and as in the last thred looks like you have fill hollows with fat. The dusty patchs will almost defo be from fat.

yeah i did read that, but thats what it looks like to me mate.
i have just uploaded previous work critism welcome . i am a self taugt plasterer for six years learnt the wrong way and learnt the right way . have made some good money from it but get pissed off sometimes when it doesnot come together

you can still get a small amount of fat up when you are towelling even with no water.

right daz lets get to the bottom of your problem, if i can help you i need to know

. is your trowel new?
. what plaster are you useing?
. what are you using to seal the wall?
. how many coats of plaster are you putting on?
. how many walls are you trying to get in one hit?

In the pictures of the dabbing. looks like your dabbing the boards the wrong way round. ie. you should'nt see the writing on the board.

helpppp again

helpppp again

cant really see too much of a problem but the thing with photographing plasterwork is any old job looks half decent on camera?
besides the boards being backwards obviosly...
didnt bother uploading the rest cos there isnt much to see or diagnose from...
next time try taking photos looking down the wall, from a position 6" from the wall in the corner...
that way you can see any dodgyness easier..
maybe its just my eyes?
