Help with edges

Hi guys fitted a fire missus wants to keep the wall paper but after I trim the plaster board I will have a raw edge and gap , what should I do please ?

You haven’t got many options really and making good to the wall paper will look s**t. Given what you’ve done, and the look you’ve gone for, why not strip the wall paper off the chimney breast and the sides, then create a bullnose overlapping onto the brickwork which will give it a bit of a feature. You could then skim the lot and paint it. If you make a good job of it, you’ll prob want to redo the rest of the room.
