Help needed on rendering type

Good morning... After some advice from you lovely guys.

We have put in planning to have a 2nd storey extension off the side of our semi detached house. I have attached photos of the current render /pebble dash that we have on the back, front and side of house.

When we get the building work done we want all sides of the house to match as close as possible. We want the old render taking off the front as it's past its best now anyway. The thing is I really don't like what's on the back of the house... Colour mainly. Is there any way that this can be altered. Also what would look best on the front and side of the house? A smooth render or slightly textured. Sorry for all the daft questions. I have got a company coming today to discuss render etc.

Have it all off the old and newer bit,
It's personal preference on what look you want, best most durable system is thin coat, I think a modern rough cast would suit your property best Screenshot_20200215_101622.jpg

Thank you for your reply. Yes I definitely think a rough finish would suit our property better. We could have had something a bit different looking if our property was Detached but being semi detached it would look out of place with our neighbours house.

The wall with the trellis is a modernish render But bite the bullet and have it all redone.

Yes paint it a different colour.
How are you planning on supporting the 2nd storey extension?
