No. I've used Vitcas and there stuff is quite tricky to get perfect.
It's not like normal skim, have you had any experience with heat proof?

Agree about Vitcas... Always use S/C with a good bit of lime thrown in. Whatever you do, don't consider fireboard for fireplaces or Wood burners. Not designed for that.
 
I have used it and hate it.... the backing plaster ( they call screed ) is like horse shite with hay in etc.... the skim wouldnt go off...... it works though..... i just returned to a job where i floated over central heating pipes and there are no cracks....the wall gets very hot.....
