Hi guys, having a bit of a nightmare on my own gaff at the moment, I’ve basecoated the the front but with the weather it’s not sponging up properly. I dunno if it’s that or if it’s the basecoat product itself. Seems to drag a bit and tear. Will it be ok to go over with top coat?

looks good enough for a topcoat to take to.
doesnt have to be blemish free. just flat and trowel line free.

Ewi premium basecoat 225,
Usually use k rends basecoat.

I understand, but mine was on for 18 hours and could only just about sponge it in the morning before I set off for work

I'm power spongeing hp after 4 hours still this time of year

This has only happened with this ewi premium basecoat, never had a problem with hp

i tend to just spat basecoats now esp.this time.of.year

225 ain’t ment to be sponged, spat it flat and if needed just run a sponge very lightly over any lines you can get out
