Was in Wicks other day and noticed they were selling hand mixers (pole with handle at top and device at bottom that looks like a bike chain gog) for £12, anyway got one and gave it a go today, was quite impressed as worked alright you get abit of a sweat on but mixes up good, good to have in the van if mixer goes down

If my mixer breaks( which it has done before) it,s a stick to finish what I'm doing then a new mixer soonest.

i keep a paddle in the back of van juist in case, use it sometimes for small mixes when cant be arsed to lift transformer around

Have thought about getting one of those hand mixers a few times, but then my kind ol' boss gave me a little paddle attachment for a drill. Strangely works ok in 18v drill if you're mixing small amount and know not to fire way too much plaster in. Quite chuffed with it!
Owt else I get the whisks out the van.

They are alright but keep them clean if you let them get dirty and try and clean them by knocking of with a hammer or something else they break as they are cast metal better of with a bike cog welded onto something.

Youd have thought the river Irwell was 50 miles wide between Salford and Manchester, Salford folk never used to admit coming from Manchester and viceversa, ;D ;D ;D
