Hairline cracks

Morning

has anyone used the ‘crack tapes’ from USA...tesa etc?Aside from the worry of accidentally ordering crack and getting raided, I wonder if it’s any good? Got hairline cracks in fire boarded Ceilings n really don’t want to skim them as there’s loads in big building. In the past tried gouging n filler, scrim with filler etc. Just filler always cracks again n scrim sticks out like sore thumb. Never tried paper mind cos I figured it would tear? Any ideas welcome

Tape them and fill or tape them and skim , mesh and skim over or get a decorator

why are you using USA tape? it's worse than useless.

but the better question is... what is causing the cracks in the first place?
