Gyproc BeadTape

New tape by Gyproc for sticking beads on, tried it today and what can I say.. it works. Couldn’t get a clout nail in so this tape was ideal.

Also handy for sticking tools to wall etc.

I *think* it might even work as a scrim tape too, will try it later.

Yes of course. Doesn’t need to be on artex of course but you knew that

Really? I've never seen an angle bead crack unless it's in an old house over a wooden bead

Yeah, pva, scrim, bond, pva, adhesive, expanding foam, scrim and peanut butter. Belt and braces no crack beading.

A top tip concerning batten corners ,,
Sometimes a bit fiddly to remove if coving or skirting ,,, your in a rush so just cover the wood with some tape that plaster sticks to , then proceed with the usual 4" clouts
