Gypliner

I have fitted gypliner system to a lean to extension.
I had to attach bottom GL8 rail to a wooden batten on wall as floor screed does not go fully to edges of room.
I have attached each GL1 liner with pan head screws top and bottom.
But after watching video of installation they do not do that.
Why is this
