Unfortunately though Stuart, not even pep or Jose would fair much better, they are just not good enough, years gone by Scotland would have some great players playing in the English league, not anymore.
It’s no different in England really, the reason way too many bang average foreigners who shouldn’t be playing here, it’s time to go back to the 3 foreigner rule, otherwise our football will just get worse.

Thing is though, there are some great Scottish players playing out their skin for their club. Calum mcgregor scored two at weekend for Celtic and is one goal away from being top scorer in the league. John mcginn from hibs bossed the midfield on Saturday and scored two goals but they can't get a game as strachan plays his favourites who can't even get a game for their club.
It’s one of the things that really puts me off international football, you should be picked on form, but it seems to be never the case.
I heard strachan say he picked his team largely based on height for yesterday’s game.
