Hi I have a job rendering a wall they want the ground floor rendered and on top they want it finished off with a 45 degree angle but don't want beads used ...any ideas how to keep this angle slight .thanx PaulPaul

rip a piece of 6x1 timber down with a 45 running through it level the timber up then you can run a trowel or whatever across it to form your 45 mate

Ping a chalk line 10mm down from top of render when rubbed up hold your straight edge to line then run your float at a 45 angle

I just use a level to put marks every metre or so along the plinth and then hold a featheredge to the marks and form the 45 angle using a pointing trowel.

Tell them to go to the yellow pages, search under the "plastering" section and ring a plasterer. And before you say that this is rendering......
