Hi.building a shower cubicle but the ceiling is broken in internal corner where new board meets ceiling . There is a split of about 12" long and no way of getting behind so has to be repaired from front . Any suggestions

I'd go over the top with a layer of hardiebacker or similar. Get rid of the gap and give you a proper surface for tiling. A lot of water in a shower cubicle and it will eventually soak into the PB and will fall to bits. Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but you've been warned.

Expanding foam. Thread closed
Hi mate. Thanks for your suggestion of using foam. I've filled gap and cut back the excess. It's really solid and no movement. I plan on repairing easy fill. Will it stick to the foam ok?
