not much differance really the G4 light is basically a budget version so has slightly different pressure switches and and on the G4 standard you can put faster rotor and stators on it for floor screeds it has a 35mm outlet on the pressure flange so it can take bigger hoses whereas the g4 light only has a 25mm outlet, but put em side by side and they'll match each other metre for metre on renders and plasters

interesting I never knew about the rotors/stators - will the light only take one rotor/stator or just fewer types than the standard? and what would a 35mm hose be suited for? faster delivery/application or heavier product types?

you can fit 35mm hoses to a g4 light we make a coupling that allows you to do that... The g4 light only runs on D pumps so you can do self leveling screeds but max output would be around 38 ltr per min... So if your not needing R pumps which max out at 80 ltrs per min then the G4 light is very good machine at the right price ... Its the machine we buy for all are own work and thay run perfect.

no mate the output would be horrendous and you would get problems galore. The R pumps are for pumping out pre bagged screeds where you could do with more material pouring out to finish the floor quicker. When rendering 2o litres is ample so if you had a diesel pump you would run it at around 20-30 lts max for render. The air that a diesel compressor blows out may make it seem faster because its blowing out about double a normal electric mixing pump.

you cant use R pumps for mono its to fast ....:RpS_biggrin: and diesels spray the same speed as electric machines you can only go as fast as you can cope with so you wouldnt spray mono at 60 ltrs per min you need to be at around 20 to 24 :rolleyes)

just purchased the g5 super has any 1 had any experiance with them would be gratful for your feed back, had a shot of m-tech 300 wich was pretty s**t hot has any 1 got comparising knowlage of these machines?

their both good machines mate both spray well, G5 is a lot easier to set up and clean and move around site then the m300 also on the hopper holds more material on the G5 which you can also get an extension hopper for, if you need to adjust water on the G5 during spray it adjusts the mix a lot quicker, i could go on but starting to sound like a salesman now lol
