sounds about wright 60mill is the concrete a sub base or an old floor dont forget about dpm is there one there or do you need to put one in :RpS_thumbup: i

need a membrane under insulation , 50mm minimum on insulation with fibres , make sure concrete is clean mate dont want insulation rockin!

membane under insulation for vapour ,water barrier, insulated upstands to avoid cold spots , should be a building paper or 500 guage membrane on insulation , but is unpractable, minimum thickness is an issue kingspan say minimum 65mm on floating floor underfloor heating suppliers say any thicker renders the underfloor heating useless , but british standard say 50mm minimum,

WTFwas that about? some insulation needs a DPM over it regardless if there is one below as sand and cement can have a reaction with it and damage it allegdly check with DS or manufactureres, its a s**t way of doing it though always put the insulation under the oversite far better job
