Hi all , whats the best float for rubbing up sto basecoat on a thin coat system please .
Ok thanks for that , ive done a few thin coats , but first time with Sto .Yeh you can’t rub Sto classic with a sponge it will tear, you need to get it on flat as possible and flatten it off as you go along, have you ever used thin coat render previously or will this be your first job? Also who will be supplying the materials cus from experience sto classic is around £70-80 a bucket so not something to get wrong as mistakes will be costly
Sto is German mate, they’ve got a whole town dedicated to manufacturing render, as in factories, storage, transport, homes for the workers, even a unit that makes its own buckets and bags, it’s something else.Isnt sto an american brand?? Come to think about it seen this getting used a while back as above doesnt need floating or a sponge.. Theres a youtube video available for this company havea look
All good here mate , hope you and the family are all good , and your earning a few quid ! I must admit im a bit concerned about the basecoat but the job is a hack off and re-do and what was on there before is not that good , so i cant go that far wrong lol .Hey church hope you’re keeping well, I’ve seen lads just spat walls and thin coat after, even watching them I was thinking wtf you can see spat lines and everything lol weird really isn’t it you’d think it would have to be floated and sponged
I’m sure you will get that magic wand out mate and it will look the dogs! Families great mate the missus has covid so I’ve locked her in the garage lol hope you’re is doing good too mateAll good here mate , hope you and the family are all good , and your earning a few quid !
