To be fair, most people round my way don't have any money so suggesting float and set with a run-in cornice is a bit of a non starter.

It's slowly split off but that's the problem the craft is no longer taught in full and that's lack of interest, qualified lecturers, qualification suppliers, money and so on. The lack of house building to a good standard and the quals being given to anyone who has a trowel it will be the down fall and that's across the board on crafts. Apprenticeships need to come back rather than turning out boxes to house people in.

That depends if you have an interest in construction, an eye for nice details, if you want be known as a good skimmer crack on.

Oh yes Defo when I done 18 months of restoration work with the old boys they opened my eyes to a lot of stuff
