I suppose render would be the most likely, but as it's a general use/question it seemed more suitable for ere than the rendering section.

Has anyone used photocatalytic cement? I'm looking at a job where I'm going to suggest it to the architect, but I've never used/applied it so wondered about the application side of getting it on. It's for a patio area and would be floor and walled sections.

I see thats quite good. They have used it on some big prestigious projects then

Yeah, and it'll get specified on more and more city centre projects to help with pollution. I'd imagine most of those will use pre-cast panels to clad buildings.

From a domestic point of view it's more about the self-cleaning aspect. Absolutely ideal for the walled patio area I'm looking at because it's a white cement that won't discolour. The cement is about 50-60% dearer than portland, but when you consider it won't need painting, or compare it to the price of the alternative render finishes (which can't be used on the floor anyway) it's cheaper long term.
