Just got delivery from Wack, as usual, completely different to what I'd ordered. They were matching a Zedfix price so I thought I'd order some Everbuild SBR as it was only a tenner.

Anyway it's arrived and tho I haven't used it, it literally has the consistency of water. Is this normal with it ?

cheers

I used to get it from local I****n builders merchants, bout £20 but was like thick treacle, think it may have been from Palace chemicals. Only got this to kill suction on breeze blocks on external so I'll p1ss it out to 3/1 should do the trick . Cheers guys, thought I'd bought a pig in a poke, no offence JJ

@irish_spread Eddie I've used the Feb Bluegrit and don't mind it, have a chat with R&J as I was paying as little as £18+VAT a while back.
Better still get some Microgobetis 3000 at about £38 and water it down 3:1, much nicer to skim over than Bluegrit.

Had problems with r and j, bent beads, ages to get refunds. Yep, the Feb bond blue grit is nice stuff but some online sellers (incl wack, Zedfix ) sell "febond everbuild" blue grit which is sh1t apparently. Did everbuild buy out Feb ???

i thin out thistle bond it with neat unibond but may try the micro. Cheers Andy

@irish_spread give the micro a try mate there's no need to add PVA just water it down, and that's direct from the mouth of the Parex render expert. Not sure over your way but Penlaws have it round here.
