gaffer phones, there's a couple of holes in ceiling to be patched, sparks couldn't find a cable.

Spark got me a while back.....the apprentice put in the wiring and we boarded it in and skimmed.

Spark came back and couldn't find the wires....I think there were six or nine downlights and he core pluuged about 18 holes.

Don't worry, he said. I'll make them disappear.

Next thing I heard was the screech of van tyres.

I've just paid the electrician, the customer beamed.

seems to be a similar story all the time for us, Maybe 2 or 3 times a week we get a similar phone call
 
Did some work for my sister a while back. Fit 8 down lights and overboard artex ceiling in hall. Ran all cables in, drew my map on the wall and over boarded. Went in early sat morn, skimmed ceiling, all going well, got straight on with walls, all done and feeling chuffed. Just cleaning up and something was niggling me, something I'd forgotten to do...ah yes, take a photo of something...I'll just do it now. Dohh!!!! :llorando:

I use a permanent marker to put a cross on the floor directly below each light, measure centres and write it as a list, and draw a map and take a photo. Belt, braces and spare trousers. (y)

Yep. Usually take a photo straightaway or draw it my notebook. One of those days! :D

I think it's another trade that's suffering with lower rates and lots of poor work tbh. Rates and quality are dropping because there's an ever increasing number of short course 'qualified' people in it.

Once on a site sparks forgets to put a cables in ceiling f**k**g holes everywhere I got the f**k**g for not patching it up right by site agent, wankers

I like to Nick they step ladders when they leave in the house u use these for hedge cutting in garden very andyg asuwere fuckum

I like to nick ther cables whe skimming ceiling and then nick ther ladders and take them back to ther home address and chat ther Mrs up and nick them to bed before he home
