dryfix adhesive instead of dot and dab question

messy

Hi
I've had previous experience of fixing plaster board with dot and dab and not had any problems apart from judging the quantities required, however I was considering using dryfix adhesive as an easier, quicker alternative - is it any good -does it work on old block work in a bathroom situation ?
I can't imagine it would be as strong as dot and dab somehow.

It's handy for sticking boards to underside of steel lintels and that's about it in my opinion

I bloody love the stuff on good walls for thermacheck boards, quick and easy and no bags to carry or knocking up no mess

Its not worth trying on blockwork unless it's perfect , completely clean , no capping , boxes and door linings to build out to .

As I thought - advertising hype seemed to good to be true - I'll give it a miss on this occasion rather than risk complete failure.
It may work ok if the wall are treated with some kind of suitable sealer though
