Drip beads .

Hi , I trained as a plasterer in my youth in the 70s , but fate took me down other paths , my question is can anybody give me tips on using drip beads , as I am going to do some rendering on my sons extension , I am fine with the rendering and rubbing up etc , but have never done any with a drip bead , do you just form the belly out freehand ? .
Any advice welcomed .

You mean a 19mm drip bead? Freehand it.

You can get 10 & 15mm drip beads and finish flush with the bead edge but still got a drip just no bellcast.

That’s good to know thanks , I have noticed some properties finished flush and wondered if they just hadn’t bothered about it .
